Working principle

Hunan Soundwin Material Energy Storage System Project
This is Soundon Energy Storage's first megawatt-level intelligent micro-grid energy storage system that strives to create a benchmark for energy storage applications in industrial parks. The project is installed in a container type, and the battery system, battery management system, inverter system, monitoring system, and auxiliary systems (temperature control, security) are integrated in the box, and the engineering technology is at the domestic leading level. After the project is put into operation, the power quality and power supply reliability of the enterprise will be significantly improved.

It is worth mentioning that the project uses SOC algorithm, IBMS system, and II-EMS energy management system, which can realize monitoring at any time and remote operation and maintenance, and further improve the safety and reliability of the project.

The project was used in an air-cooled energy storage cabinet equipped with 280Ah batteries, and its service life can reach more than ten years; at the same time, it is equipped with fire protection system, temperature control system, thermal management system, battery management system and other equipment to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the system.

Utilize the actual electricity price difference between the park’s peak, valley, and peak hours to generate energy-saving benefits (two charging and two discharging), which is expected to save more than 800 kilowatt-hours of electricity per day, and the annual discharge capacity of the energy storage system is about 224,000 kWh.

Using high-safety LiFePO4 batteries, prefabricated cabin design, and using energy management system (EMS) and other information technology, the energy conversion efficiency reaches over 88%, the single maximum storage capacity is 8000 kWh, and the maximum daily discharge capacity can reach Up to 16000 kWh.

Through the "shared contract energy management" model, the project realized zero-cost sharing of net income, and was officially put into operation on April 18, 2023. At present, all indicators are good, and the efficiency of green and low-carbon development is gradually emerging.

Through the "two charging and two discharging" charging and discharging strategy, charging during low electricity price periods and discharging during high electricity price periods, the estimated annual discharge capacity is about 5.5 million kWh and carbon emissions are reduced by 3,240 tons per year. This will not only reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises, but also help Based on the stable operation of the power grid, it helps enterprises improve economic, social, environmental and development benefits, and has become a typical example of energy structure transformation of traditional enterprises.
